Renting a hive from us for a year starting from January allows you to support bee populations while enjoying the sweet rewards of honey.

How It Works

1. Price: The price of the hive hire starts at £400. 
2. Updates: You will receive regular updates of how your hive progress during the season.
3. Expert Care: Our experienced beekeepers handle all hive management tasks throughout the year, including regular inspections, maintenance, and ensuring the health of the colony.
4. Honey Harvesting: At the end of the beekeeping season, typically the middle of August we harvest the honey produced by your hive. The amount of honey will depend on the weather but you will get roughly 20-60 pounds of Honey.
5. How we give you the honey: We will supply the honey in food grade buckets, if you would like them in individual glass jars please speak to use before harvesting, there will be an extra cost to this.
6. Enjoy Local Honey: You receive the honey harvested from your hive, ready to savour or use in your culinary creations.
